Love Always Wins Out! June 3 Notes from Papa via Paul Gray
To My wonderful child, whom I cherish and delight in,
I know that there are times when you are unfairly and unjustly criticized, condemned and accused. Those times especially hurt when you were actually doing something to help the other person and they got upset and lashed out at you. That’s exactly what happened to Jesus. He came to save the world, including you, from the devastating effect of your sin. But the world didn’t understand. Because of people’s darkened minds (which sin caused) they couldn’t see the truth of who Jesus was and what He was doing. They lashed out at Him, reviled him, mocked Him and eventually killed Him.
We knew that We had to let that happen so that We could get to the very bottom… the depths of your fallen nature… to meet you there and take all that on Us so We could then take it away and exchange it for Our righteousness.
So while you were mocking, deriding and hurling venomous accusations against Jesus… He didn’t say a word. He just took it all. He could have called down legions of angels to kill you. He could have turned all humanity back to nothingness. But He took it all silently, without resistance… because We love you and We knew We had to prove to you that Our love would never stop and never fail no matter what you did to Us.
Now, when those whom you love criticize, condemn, accuse and revile you, Christ in you will do with them (as you) just what He always does. He will take it and not fight back, not retaliate, not defend Himself, not prove that He’s right. To the world, that seems weak. The evil one says, “Fight back and stand up for yourself. Defend yourself. Don’t let anyone treat you that way.”
But My way, the way of love, always wins out. It never fails. Just like Jesus trusted Us to prevail, raise Him from the dead and never leave or forsake Him, We promise that to you. Have Jesus’s faith and believe and trust Us. At the time that you are being vilified, it hurts. But, love wins out! You can believe Us and trust Us. We love you and the other person, and they will eventually be won over by Our love!
We are for you and We promise you that, ultimately, We will work each unpleasant situation out for the good of everyone!
~Love, Papa
