In Bible times they used the phrase “meeting together” as we would say “hanging out” today. They just did life together…with one another.
Here’s a little clip from a time of hanging out this week at Pioneer Ridge Independent Living Center. Part of our Grace Group (who call themselves “Supper Sisters” because they meet for a meal and hanging out with each other including prayer and studying a book each Tuesday evening) joined Ed Laut and me as we played a little Christmas concert for the folks.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together… but let us encourage one another.” (Heb. 10: 24– 25)
